About Miss Linda

I’m so excited that you have stopped by today. Homemade Soap and making soap  bubbles is my one weakness. That is why I have created my Soap Bubbles blog.  I want to share with you what I know and what I have experienced in the world of soap bubbles.

Just to let you know, I am not a young “Chick”. I am more like a gentle aging Exotic Bird! I envision myself as a Red Macaw; full of color, flying freely, and making enough noise to be heard.

I am an artist, musician, and craftier and over the years, I have done many things. One thing I know about myself, I am always the teacher. I will continue here spreading knowledge to willing students and we will spread our wings together.

Once upon a time, there was a girl (that would be me) who was raised in the country surrounded by grazing land, crops, and farm equipment.

She grew up eating the veggies they planted, the beef they raised, stitched her own clothing, baked her own bread, and made her own soap. It was a wholesome, chemical free life in the great outdoors. Then she left home and headed to the big city.

She was so excited to experience “store bought” clothes and to buy bread off the grocery shelves. She looked forward to pampering herself with all the beautifully boxed body soaps she found in the beauty isles when she went shopping.

Unfortunately, the contents of those pretty boxes of soap caused her to swell with hives. The itching was intense and her skin began to dry out. Those dry red patches of skin on her body did not help her feel pretty. She was so uncomfortable. Her body did not like the chemicals in the soap. She was allergic.

Sad but true; however, there is a happy ending to this story. It wasn’t long before she went back to making her own soap and teaching others to do the same. She knew she needed a more natural, chemical free product. The girl, now a woman (that would be me) began, once again, to work with natural products like olive oil and goats milk. Soon her skin was soft and clear and she lived to be happy again.

Now, I know that I am not the only person out there who has skin sensitivities and allergies to store bought products. Babies, Teens, Adults (young and old) are all suffering from toxic chemical exposures in our manufactured soaps. The harsh realities of this story resonates with many.

One of the best things in my life is working at home. I love making soap, sharing soap, and writing about soap. That is what my blog is all about… SOAP! I’m lucky to have found a training program that didn’t cost me anything to start so I can actually be successful writing and helping others. Wealthy Affiliate is the company that helped me get started online.

Developing this Website to bring knowledge of making soap bubbles and its effects on those with sensitive skin has become a great passion of mine.

I am here to introduce you to one of the most lavish, luscious, delightful experiences I know, “Homemade” soap. Soap like I grew up with. Soap like my Grandma made, only prettier!  It has made such a difference in my life, I believe it will make a difference in yours.

I’m so happy that you could stop by and hope you will come visit often. If you ever have any questions, feel free to leave them below and we will talk.

Happy in Bubbles,

Miss Linda
