Healthy lifestyle advocates have been swearing by the benefits of coconuts for as long as we can remember. Whether it’s the refreshing coconut milk or water, the jelly or “meat”, all parts of the coconut are rich in protein, a great source of hydration, and so much more. One of the most useful ingredients of the coconut is the oil, which can help contribute to your body’s energy levels and promote a stronger metabolism. Coconut oil is not only good for your insides, but can be extremely helpful to your outside as well. Many people use the oil for their face, skin, hair, and even for relaxation. Let’s take a look at some of the ways that we can use coconut oil soap to help our skin and bodies look and feel their best.

Coconut oil, being very rich in hydration, can keep the skin properly nourished and hydrated for up to 24 hours. Coconut oil soap is highly conditioning and cleansing, producing a creamy, thick lather that your body will love.

This type of soap is full of fatty acids, which work to remove dirt, bacteria, and dead skin effectively, while remaining gentle. And, there is nothing worse than having dry cracking skin.

There’s no need for harsh chemicals for a deep clean feeling. Coconut oil soap can double as a natural makeup cleanser and with natural deodorizing properties, it helps to eliminate body odor without the use of chemicals. So many people have allergies to the harsh chemicals of commercial soaps. So, this is one really good solution for cleansing.

As we just touched upon, coconut oil soap is highly moisturizing. The fatty acids it contains work with your natural oils, rather than stripping them away like most other types of soap.

It is an easily absorbed oil that will leave you feeling smooth and refreshed after each use. Skin is very porous and more than 60% of whatever you put onto your skin is absorbed into your bloodstream. This was a very interesting fact that I had never come across before!

It’s way better for your body to use natural coconut oil soap rather than chemically constructed alternatives so only natural substances are entering your bloodstream. One of the best things about coconut oil soap is just how universal it is. It’s a very effective and thorough cleanser that helps smooth and moisturize even the driest skin while still being gentle enough to use on babies.

Many facial cleansers are made with a number of harsh chemicals that can dry out skin and strip it of natural oils that are actually essential for a clear and healthy facial glow. Coconut oil is naturally antifungal and antibacterial, making it great for your facial routine.

It will moisturize your skin and help prevent breakouts from clogged pores. This is a real plus for anyone fighting acne. Coconut oil contains vitamins E and A which keep your face looking smooth and young, while also helping to reduce sun damage. It also helps increase collagen production and improve skin elasticity.

Coconut oil has long been used for its healing abilities. Fatty acids help reduce inflammation both on the inside and out. Coconut oil soap can help soothe and heal burns, cuts, scrapes, eczema, dermatitis, acne, and even psoriasis, to name a few conditions.

It is also great for clarifying skin and helping even out tone (dark spots). If you have stretch marks or cellulite, incorporating coconut oil soap into your skincare regimen can also reduce visibility of these inconvenient blemishes.

If you’re someone who likes staying silky smooth, you probably shave pretty regularly. If you’re unfortunate enough to have your body hair grow back frequently, you may even shave daily or every other day. Frequent shaving can lead to inconvenient ingrown hairs. Not only are they not fun to look at, but they can be painful and itchy.

Coconut oil reduces inflammation and also moisturizes, making it perfect to help treat areas of your skin that are often irritated. The oil helps soften skin, making it easier for hair to grow properly through the follicle.

Using coconut oil soap will make sure all of your shaved areas are treated daily with barely an extra thought. You’ll notice a major reduction in ingrown hairs and any infections that occur as a result from bacteria build up. Wait… there’s more! You know those less than sexy razor bumps? Daily showers with coconut oil soap reduces the visibility of them!

The scent of coconut oil is very popular in aromatherapy. While its moisturizing properties are already soothing to the touch, its exotic scent relaxes your senses and eases your mind. It also soothes and relaxes your muscles, releasing the day’s tensions. A shower at the end of the day with coconut oil soap will leave you feeling at ease.

How many times have you come home from a long day of work or even shopping and just absolutely needed to escape from the hustle and bustle of the day? The very idea of a long soak in a tub or a nice hot shower is enough to begin that release of stress. Add the wonderful aromatherapy of coconut oil to that and you will simply float away. Yes, it is that good.

If you’re looking for an all in one skin solution, we’d suggest investing in coconut oil soap as soon as possible. It is a natural alternative to harsh chemicals that are usually used in most commercial soaps. It is gentle and perfect for all skin types. Your skin and body will feel hydrated and soothed after each shower and with its anti-aging properties, you’ll be looking younger and feeling better. Coconut oil soap benefits are endless, so give it a try. Your body will thank you.

  1. Coconut products are all the rage these days and for good reason. Coconut creamer for example is an excellent alternative to traditional dairy creamer. Coconut oil soap sounds outstanding. I can almost smell the soap now. I imagine it makes skin silky smooth too. You’ve intrigued me with the rubber duckies, and you’ve intrigued me with the coconut soap as well. I’m looking forward to reading more, well done!

    • Love your energy, Pentrental.

If you haven’t tried a coconut oil soap yet, get yourself a bar soon. It is wonderful how it feels on your skin and the lather is outstanding!

Glad you like my Rubber Duckies, I found them to be fun!
